One of the most talented ethical fashion designers around today is Carrie Parry. Driven by passion and integrity, she always carefully considers her social and environmental impact on both the fashion industry and the world.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Carrie Parry is a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins design school. Her carefully crafted eco designs have earned her various accolades, including the Ethical Fashion Forum’s 2011 Innovation Award; the Eileen Fisher 2012 Business Grant for Women Entrepreneurs, and she has also had honours in The Green Fashion Competition, a movement designed to create recognition for ethical designs.
Parry’s collections are intended with a commitment to responsible materials and practises with a focus on style and quality. Her designs are made from eco-friendly fabrics such as organic wool, recycled polyster, cupro and handspun silk. In addition, she is also involved in Earth Pledge, a non-profit organisation dedicated to educating the fashion industry on sustainable materials and processes.
We love this summer collection, which has subtle hints of Parisian style and retro inspiration, combining sophisticated tailoring, sleek lines and quality materials to create a wardrobe that exudes luxury, simplicity, eternal value and wear-ability. Her collection is one that transitions naturally from day to night; the classic cuts and femininity ensure that they remain timeless investment pieces, worn regardless of season, for years to come.
