She’s the daughter of one of the most famous men on the planet, and one of the most popular designers of our generation. So you’d expect Stella McCartney to be at least a bit haughty, right?
Wrong. In this short interview from a series by Vogue, the London based designer talks openly about everything from animal rights and ethics to gender and unconditional love. You’ll hear what she learned about the leather industry and why her line is 100% vegan. She also sheds some insight about why she’s so passionate about animals, how her mom has influenced her choices, and how she selects the models–who have included Cara Delevigne, Kate Moss and Joan Smalls, for her runway shows.
We always liked Stella, but this interview just intensified our admiration even more!
