Beauty Metamorphosis: Clean Makeup Looks From Sweet To Smoldering

Transforming a makeup look from sweet to smoldering is easier than you think! All it takes is a subtle shift in colour and a bit of layering of colour. Here, makeup artist Marom Tal Winshenk walks us through how to get these dramatically beautiful looks by using clean beauty makeup products that really pop!

1. Angel of the Morning

How to get the look

1. Wash and prime your face with a moisturiser or facial primer
2. Apply foundation with a Kabuki brush, sponge or fingers. Blend well.
3. Apply blusher just under the cheekbone, along the jawline and temples with a blush brush.
4. Shape brows and fill in with feathery pencil strokes and blend well.
5. Line the lower, inner corner rim of the eye in Transparent eye pencil.
6. Dust the upper lids with Garden Rose. Apply Sand shadow on the outer quarter of the eyelid and blend well. Brush on one coat of mascara.hg
7. Apply lipstick with no liner. Blot.
8. Dust finishing powder with a loosely bristled powder brush.

2. Springtime Fête

How to get the look

1. Wash and prime your face with a moisturiser or facial primer
2. Apply foundation with a Kabuki brush, sponge or fingers. Blend well.
3. Apply blusher just under the cheekbone, along the jawline and temples with a blush brush.
4. Shape brows and fill in with feathery pencil strokes and blend well.
5. Line the lower and upper inner corner rims of the eye in Transparent eye pencil.
6. Dust the upper lids with Garden Rose. Apply Angelic shadow all around the eye except the inner corners,  using a medium brush. If it looks too pink, trace over with Sand shadow and blend in.
7. Apply lipstick with no liner. Blot, then apply gloss.
8. Dust finishing powder with a loosely bristled powder brush.

3. (Not-So) Delicate Petal

How To Get The Look

1. Wash and prime your face with a moisturiser or facial primer
2. Apply foundation with a Kabuki brush, sponge or fingers. Blend well.
3. Apply blusher just under the cheekbone, along the jawline and temples with a blush brush.
4. Shape brows and fill in with feathery pencil strokes and blend well.
5. Line the entire eye in Transparent eye pencil. Don’t use any mascara.
6. Dust the upper lids with Garden Rose. Apply Sand shadow on the inner quarter of the eyelid and blend well.
7. Apply lipstick with no liner. Blot. Re-apply.
8. Dust finishing powder with a loosely bristled powder brush.

4. Evening Siren

How to get the look

1. Wash and prime your face with a moisturiser or facial primer
2. Apply foundation with a Kabuki brush, sponge or fingers. Blend well.
3. Apply blusher just under the cheekbone, along the jawline and temples with a blush brush.
4. Shape brows and fill in with feathery pencil strokes and blend well.                                                                      5. Line the inner rim, upper lid and lower lid in black eye pencil.                                                                            6. Dust the upper lids and above to brow with Garden Rose eye shadow. Use a fine eye shadow brush to apply the darker brown shade of the Hynt palette around the outer quarter of the eye and above to just under the brow. Blend well with Garden Rose, then use the same brush to apply the dark brown shadow to just beneath the black line you created for the bottom eyelid. Blend well.                                                              7. Apply Transparent shimmer to the inner corner of each eye, then apply several coats of black mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
9. Line the lips carefully, focusing on creating a delicate cupid’s bow. Fill in with lipstick and blot.
10. Dust finishing powder with a loosely bristled powder brush.
