It’s springtime, and for many of us, that means wedding season has begun.
Whether you’re a bride to be or simply know someone who is, we will be covering eco-friendly wedding dresses, rings, lingerie and more in the days to come.
Kicking off our special weddings week, we begin of course, with that most essential item: the dress.
It’s said that on their wedding day, women want to transform themselves into princesses, so it’s only fitting that Leila Hafzi was in fact honoured by real-life princess.
The Norwegian eco-haute couture designer  was awarded for having created the best sustainable fashion brand at the HENNE Nà ¥là ¸yet prize awards, in Oslo.  The award was presented by HRH Crown Princess of Norway,  Mette-Merit, who pinned the Green Prize on Leila herself.
Leila Hafzi deserves the credit. She has built a luxury ethical and sustainable fashion brand that empowers women in Nepal through the designer’s involvement with the Ethical Trading Initiative in Norway.
She creates beautiful sustainable luxury wedding gowns from natural silk, and transformed into feminine and elegant designs to capture the bride’s precious day. Â With unique draping accented with exquisite details – her bespoke designs are available in an array of colours to appeal to any bride.
These breathtaking images were photographed in Nepal–but an eco wedding dress by Leila Hafzi would transform any bride, anywhere, into a princess.
