“Friends don’t make friends wear ugly dresses. We wanted to make a collection that girls could wear again and to all different occasions.” So said top LA cool-girl brand the Reformation about their first bridal collection.
Best known for their maxi-dresses created from dead stock fabrics, the Reformation has become a fast favourite with hip celebrities, from Nicole Ritchie and Alexa Chung to Olivia Wilde and Amber le Bon.
Their summer collection, featuring delicate pastel and white maxis, is complimented by their more richly hued and longer sleeved autumn collection. The Reformation’s trademark plunging necklines, open backs and flowing skirts with a flash of thigh are plentiful in both collections, which can easily shift from bridal wear to everyday, depending on how you rock it.
As the brand says of the Reformation Bridal Collections: “We tweaked some of our best shapes and carefully picked the best fabrics to make, well, the best dresses. It’s bridal for babes.”
