And so it is Christmas: the festival of peace, brotherhood…and garish decorations. Simply can’t take the sight of another naff jumper? Eyes watering from tinsel overload? Got a gauche wrapping paper-induced headache coming on? Then I think we have a rather sweet surprise. The aesthetics of traditional Christmas decorations meets Gothic style in this unusual Christmas shoot – our little gift to you.
Designer Inbal Raveh has created unusual headpieces, jewellery and accessories from evergreen branches and upcycled holiday decorations, combining them with mixed 70s and 80s style vintage clothing and faux fur to develop a sartorial language that conveys a more up-to-day, fashion forward, and rather subversive interpretation of Christmas fashion.
We wish everyone a very fabulous holiday season!
