London is a city packed with thousands of fashion designers, but even so, Gillian June stands out. The women’s made-to-measure and pret-a-porter company employs Saville Row trained tailors to create modern classics from locally sourced, vintage and organic textiles, including organic cotton and silk.
Clients are directly involved in the construction of bespoke pieces, adding their thoughts, taste and personal touches to garments they can treasure for years. Although the brand tries to minimise textile waste in every way possible, every scrap they do create is upcycled.
Now, Gillian June would like to offer one lucky Eluxe reader the opportunity to experience the luxurious quality of the brand by offering a pair of organic cotton Alice trousers in your size.
The paper-bag style pants were produced in a Fair Trade factory in India. They were first hand-cut by an experienced tailor and then constructed by one trouser-maker, rather than produced on a factory line to ensure consistently high quality in every pair.
Generous pockets, a cropped length, beautiful draping and a gathered waist define this classic style.
