Colder weather means we need some comfort. There are many ways to find that: curled up in front of a fireplace with your favourite book; sipping a cup of thick hot chocolate or tackling the cold directly by bundling up and dashing out into the snow!
Oddly enough, for me at least, winter provokes some of the most comforting scents around. Who doesn’t have fond memories of the scent of pine from their Christmas tree, or spices from hot pumpkin pies, after all?
I believe a scent can truly evoke emotion. It can energize us, make us feel beautiful…or even warm us up!
This selection of all natural winter perfumes I’ve put together contains notes of everything that’s wonderful about winter – from Christmassy frankincense and myrrh to rich chocolates and ambers.

This American company is dedicated to providing a healthy alternative to synthetic perfumes. That’s a good thing, because they’re usually full of junk like acetone, petroleum, and phthalates! I particularly love their Mejica scent. In fact, it’s one of my top picks for natural perfumes this winter.
This is a rich, snuggly blend of three vanillas, rare resins and spices. It’s one of the best organic winter perfumes for those who love a soft, feminine fragrance.

3. Bravanariz Octubre
Ernesto Collado, founder of Bravanariz, is super creative for so many reasons. A theatre creator and contemporary artist, he also continues his family tradition as the grandson of one of the most popular Spanish perfumiers and essential oils producers of the 20th century.
His Octubre scent reflects the chillier months with its touches of tangerine, pine and juniper. This natural eau de cologne is also enriched by the freshness of the lemon verbena and earthiness of chestnuts. The mix is an enthralling distillation of nature in the time of the falling leaves.

But that’s not all. This is a natural winter perfume for those whose idea of comfort is a rich, sweet cup of heart-opening cocoa. Because that’s one of the base notes here – along with vanilla and caramel.

I love the name of this brand! That’s exactly what you’ll feel like when you wear this deep, masculine, warm and romantic Nirvana scent. It features extracts of organic Indian sandalwood, West Indian wild bay leaf and organic Italian bergamot peel.
Rich hippie is proud to use organic farms for their ingredients. To make their scents, they also employ techniques used by the great French perfumers. I chose their Himalayan patchouli berry perfume as being one of the best natural perfumes for winter. It evokes the magic of the chilly Asian region, and was inspired by the Festival of Colours in Nepal. You’ll truly be transported by the alluring aroma of mystical patchouli. 10. Neal’s Yard Frankincense
