Berry Nice! Our All Natural Berry Lipstick Picks for Autumn

By Sophia Hussain

We’ve been eating berries all summer, and this autumn they’ll be all over our lips too–in the form of richly hued lipstick! Berry lips are absolute feminine perfection, instantly brightens the complexion, and look chic with both barely-there-eye makeup and dramatic cat-eye flicks.  Blue-based hues makes teeth appear whiter too, and since most berry hues are saturated with colour, they will appear as the true hue on pigmented lips – the darker the skintone, the darker the hue on the lips.

But applying brighter or darker hues requires extra care.  Use a lipliner or lipbrush for precise application to prevent colour bleed which may occur.  Either apply a lipliner in a corresponding hue on clean smooth bare lips, or after to create a clean finish. For evening glam, apply a dab of organic lipgloss to the centre of the lip for a plumped-up pout.  Remember to always blot excess product to prevent marks on the teeth–a favourite trick is to pop a fingertip between your lips and blot.

Explore our lipstick picks for autumn in rich juicy raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and blackberry hues–all organic and natural, of course, to avoid toxic chemicals ensure you’re not putting anything but berry goodness in your mouth!
