H&M Conscious Collection Has a New Face

By Arwa Lodhi

First there was Vanessa Paradis, pretty in tropical greens. Then came Amber Valletta, the Queen of Green. Now, environmental warrior and animal advocate Olivia Wilde is the new face of H&M’s Conscious Collection.

The Swedish retailer will launch its next ethical and eco-friendly collection on April 16th, both in shops and online, and it seems each year, the collections get even more gorgeous.

Last season’s floaty silk dresses and tie-dyed shorts sold out within hours (much to our chagrin), but proved without a doubt that there is indeed high demand for sustainable fashion.

This season, from what we can see Olivia wearing in the adverts so far, we can expect to see a few key design features that were in the last collection: fuller, longer skirts; light silks and organic cottons in abstract, dyed prints; feminine silhouettes and a jumpsuit or two.

We think this may even be H&M’d best Conscious Collection yet. Our only hope is they don’t sell out as fast as they did last season!
