I’ve never met HollyBeth, but I can imagine what she’s like: a warm, welcoming American who nurtures her friends with hearty cooking, helpful advice and healthy skincare potions. Or at least, that’s the impression she communicates to her customers: pots of creams are delivered in little treasure boxes fashioned from scraps of plywood; recyclable packaging is in pretty olive and grey paisley patterned boxes, and the organic ingredients of her products are based on recipes suggested by none other than her mom.
For example, her Grits & Honey scrub contains mainly those two ingredients, as well as sweet almond oil and Vitamin E–exactly what HollyBeth’s mother would recommend she use to liven up her complexion. Smelling good enough to eat with a thickly runny texture, I used this semi-sticky product as a bit of a mask, leaving it on for 10 full minutes before gently rubbing the grits around, resulting in a moist, glowing visage.
The Citrus All Over Cream is just as natural, and contains a blend of organic oils, with a refreshing citrusy scent. This is a slightly oily cream, perfect for applying at night on dry areas like shins, hands and elbows.
The Eye Cream, on the other hand was much lighter and blended into the skin easily. Also containing organic oils, it has added beeswax to fill in fine lines. Absolutely refreshing, it soothes and relaxes the tender eye area as it helps reduce puffiness and smooth and prevent wrinkles.
There is a wide range of HollyBeth’s Natural Luxury products, and after sampling these three, I would recommend these for anyone with sensitive skin–these are all gentle, hydrating and seem to be made with an extra drop of love, too!
